Stretcher leveling in SSC Ostrava
The basic purpose of stretcher leveling is to eliminate internal stresses in the processed steel material. Sheet steel formats produced on the new upgraded cutting line in SSC Ostrava with the inclusion of the so-called Stretcher are suitable for further laser processing.
SSC Ostrava has upgraded the cut-to-length cutting line.
Last year, a project to upgrade the cut-to-length cutting line in SSC Ostrava was implemented at a cost of CZK 150 million. Thanks to cooperation with American, Spanish and domestic suppliers, the line now enables sheet metal leveling using the latest stretcher leveling technology (Stretcher). In addition to Leveltek's stretcher leveling technology, the entire cut-to-length cutting line consists of additional process nodes - unwinding, pre-leveling, side trimming, brushing, conventional leveling, cutting, stacking and packaging.
